This book explains and demonstrates some of the capabilities of A&A Dies, a company based in Atlanta, GA that creates dies for packaging, letterpress printing, p.o.p. displays, and more. This book and logo redesign shift the appeal of the company by marketing to a more design-conscious audience, a group that provides most of the company’s business but is widely ignored by the hyper-technical marketing materials from A&A and other die companies.

Using language that is easy to understand, this book clearly explains some of the die-cutting techniques and machinery, even for those who aren’t tech savvy. These explanations are displayed in conjunction with graphical and tactile real-world uses of the machinery that are relevant to designers. The book is crafted and printed on French Paper, a paper source that holds credibility in the design community. this was created as student work, and is not officially affiliated with A&A Dies.
